A Gibson Bridal Gown

For a long time I have been wanting to get back to making clothes for my vintage Kestner Gibson Girl lady. So now I had some time, and with the collection of ecru fabrics and trims, designed a wedding grown just for my lady. Bits of vintage, as well as new, joined together to the best advantage of this style. The late 1800 Gibson era is my favorite time to create in. Her bridal bouquet is made up of vintage flowers, as is her bridal cap, made from a vintage one. It was cut and reduced in size to fit the doll. Because pictures speak louder then lots of words, here is my 21" lady in her gown. Please enjoy and let me know what you think of her formal wedding gown, with train.

And now for the details, with out the vail.
