I need a ball gown. That's what she said, when I asked her what I should make for her next…
So here it is a lovely mint green brocade, and a solid green satin. It's trimmed with a wide lace and a beaded swag, with a gathered satin band between. Bodice and skirt are separate . A lovely corsage of flowers, and a hair decoration of the same with a curled white plume.
She has a new long white petticoat underneath trimmed with two rows of wide lace.
The gown has a dimi-train in the back. It was inspired by a 1901 design by Lucile LDT.
I will need to make long white gloves to cover her arms.
I wonder what will be next?
