And last but not least.....

We come to the last gown in this collection of 1/12 th scale clothes. Frances already has her wedding dress ready for the day she meets her prince charming. The underskirt has 2 rows of pin pleated fabric around the bottom of the skirt. Above those two rows is an overskirt that is gathered tucked and sewn

intermittently all the way around. It makes for a very full underskirt. A tiny braid tops the pin pleated fabric where ever you see it.
The jacket has a long full jacket skirt trimmed out in the same pin pleated and trimmed fabric as the skirt. The upper bodice has a lavish net overlay also trimmed, and with the sleeves being made full by the same design as the skirt pin tucked and trimmed lower edge.
Her veil is held on by a 'crown' of lace and flowers. The veil its self  reaches beyond the train edge of the skirt. She carried a lush bouquet of flowers, with trailing ribbon knots.
The richness and fullness of this ivory satin gown can't be raveled by anything else she has in her closet, so its no wonder she kept this one for the last.
I hope you have enjoyed this collection, and will come back to see the little china head transformed into a fashion lady, with her own wardrobe from a different era.
Remember to click on the 'older posts' link below to see the rest of this ladies fashions. After all she did start the whole thing {the making up of a complete wardrobe}. Later on when I have her 'home' complete I'll post a picture of that as well. Thanks for coming, and see you back soon. Leave me your comments please, I'd love to hear what you think.
